We would also like to inform you that, in accordance with the arrangements made by the conference

11th International Economic Event Mozambique – Poland

held on 14 January 2021, we have started direct action in Mozambique and South-East Africa,

we invite all companies and establishments, chambers, associations and economic organizations, scientific, industrial and technological parks, institutes and agricultural advisory centres operating on the territory of Polish to participate.

Both during and after the conference, we discussed in detail the directions for further action and work to intensify our Polish exports and related transfer of technology, lines, machines, products and services to the countries of Mozambique and neighbouring Mozambique, South Africa and other African countries, followed by countries in the Middle East, Asia, South America and Eastern Europe.

We have identified the main objectives, priorities and lines of action in the Republic of Mozambique as an important foothold in South-East Africa with the following findings and objectives:

Export and import communication in this region of Africa is mainly based on three ports in the Republic of Mozambique:

1. The port in the capital of MAPUTO, is connected by 518 km of good quality highway with Pretoria, the capital of South Africa (about 6.5 hours drive), and therefore a significant part of exports to And from South Africa, especially to and from the northern and central regions takes place through the port of MAPUTO.

2. Maputo is also via Pretoria connected by a convenient highway 315 km (approx. 4.5 hours drive) from Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. Therefore, export to and import from Botswana is largely carried out by the port of Maputo.

3. The port of Maputo provides Suazi and its capital Mbabane with the only sea window to the world and is 218 km away (approx. 4 hours drive).

4. Another port in Mozambique, beira, located north of Maputo at a distance of 1217 km from it, also located on the Indian Ocean, is connected to the capital of Zimbabwe, Harare by a highway length of 570 km, and from Harare is connected to the capital of Zambia, Lusaka by a highway length of 1056 km.

5. Nacala, the next port in Mozambique north of Beira at a distance of 1162 km, is connected to Lilongwe by the capital of Malawi, which lies 1004 km from Nacala.

6. Nacala is also connected to the capital of Zambia, Lusaka 1716 km.

These data show that along the entire coast length of East Africa from Durban to Dar es Salaam, these three ports in the Republic of Mozambique serve and provide access to countries such as South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Swaziland, Malawi, Democratic Republic of congo, Tanzania.

With all this in mind - the main commercial office and agricultural machinery are already being prepared and will be organized in the first half of 2021 in Maputo, the six millionth capital of the country.

In Maputo, systems for the distribution of Polish consumer and industrial products imported into the Republic of Mozambique according to the KOZIOŁEK project will also be developed first.

The first facilities and lines for agri-food processing and food industry will also be located in the region of the capital of the country, Maputo, in the first place it will be equipment for small and medium-sized enterprises (including family businesses) for the preservation and processing of meat, fruits and vegetables.

Pilot farms, which we plan to set up in the second half of 2021, we intend to deploy in three areas of the Republic of Mozambique:

(up to 100 km from Maputo)

(near Beira)

northern (near Nacala)

We have provided at our disposal farms with an area of at least 50 hectares.

Regardless of the activities carried out in the Republic of Mozambique, commercial/contact offices are planned to be set up in the first half of 2021 in Harare, zimbabwe's capital, Lusace, the capital of Zambia, and gaborone, the capital of Botswana, in order to link their activities to those carried out in the Republic of Mozambique.

Please assist us with a list of Zambian enterprises and other relevant stakeholders ready to participate in the Poland – Zambia conference.

Yours sincerely,
